Dept. of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics was introduced in the academic year 2009 - 2010. The department strives very hard to make learners excel in Mathematical skills and build an appropriate career. As a regular feature it conducts several workshops in Mathematics to improve the arithmetical and numerical abilities of learners majoring in other disciplines. The department has dedicated staff members, who render their wonderful service in Competitive Coaching Classes. For enlarging the horizons of students' mathematical knowledge, the department conducts Seminars, Guest Lectures, and Quiz Competitions periodically.
programme Outcome
Demonstrate basic manipulative skills in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. Apply the underlying unifying structures of mathematics (i.e. sets, relations and functions, logical structure) and the relationships among them. Demonstrate proficiency in writing proofs. Communicate mathematical ideas both orally and in writing. Investigate and apply mathematical problems and solutions in a variety of contexts related to science, technology, business and industry, and illustrate these solutions using symbolic, numeric, or graphical methods. Investigate and solve unfamiliar math problems.
