Department of Computer Science offers Bachelor of Computer Application and Bachelor of Information Technology, which were introduced in the academic year 2007-08. Computer discipline has been witnessing rapid changes and fastest growth. The department strives to keep abreast of all recent technological advancement in order to get the students updated regularly. The department has fully equipped computer laboratories with domain system connectivity and teaches with all advanced technological aid. With well-qualified faculty of rich experience, the department conducts workshops, seminars and guest lectures periodically in each semester. The department offers Animation Course, Web Designing courses and Basic Computer to students of other disciplines as well.

The Computer Science Department's Bachelor of Science programme enables students to attain an ability to identify, formulate, develop solutions to computational challenges and ability to design, implement and evaluate a computational system to meet desired needs within realistic constraints. It supplements understanding of professional, ethical, legal, security, and social issues and responsibilities for the computing profession. It also enlarges the students' ability to apply mathematical foundations, algorithmic principles, and computer science theory in the modeling and design of computational systems in a way that demonstrates comprehension of the tradeoffs involved in design choices.
